We also offer an optional summer camp, which runs through the last week of July. Inclement Weather
We follow the New Canaan Public School decision regarding weather related closings. If the public schools are closed due to weather, we will be closed for all classes. If the public schools have a delay of any length, all our classes will begin at 10am. When our opening is delayed, dismissal is still at the regular time. Afternoon classes are not affected by morning delays. If the public schools have an early dismissal, we dismiss everyone at 12noon. Where we differ from the public school schedule is when the public schools are closed for any reason other than hazardous roads such as equipment failure, loss of power or school bus issues that do not impact us. On these occasions, we will make every effort to remain open. You will be notified by email regarding any closings, delays or early dismissals.

About our 2’s classes
Toddlertime started in 1980 as a 2’s program and has been educating 2’s ever since! About 50% of our students today are 2’s. Our 2’s teachers are experts in what they do with a combined teaching experience of over 100 years. Potty training is not required.

About our 5’s classes
Our 5’s program is dedicated to those who have completed a 4’s program or the equivalent. We think it’s important to give those children who are taking an additional year of preschool, a program that builds on what they learned in the 4’s program. Class size is limited to 12/13 with 2 teachers enabling them to work in small groups and even one-on-one. We hope you’ll visit if you’re considering an extra year of preschool for your child.
